The answer is YES. It is entirely possible to use your nail drill on your natural nails. Some bits are intended for all types of nails.
For the polishing phase, however, you will need to choose the least abrasive tips: the diamond cone for example. Another piece of advice, don’t exceed 20,000 revolutions per minute. As with everything, you should work your nails sparingly. If you use your nail grinder every day, it is obvious that you risk damaging your nails.
A word of advice: always take your time when treating your nails. Check the rotation speed before switching on your device and choose the appropriate bits. Don’t force too much and you will maintain healthy nails.
